Danila Boneva is an avid adventurer and mother of Léo. Over the span of their almost eight years together, they lived in Switzerland, Rwanda, Bulgaria, and Mozambique. Léo passed away in 2021, two months before turning eight years old. He dreamed of becoming a writer when he grew up. The characters of Foxy, Bunny and Tarantula, as well as their humorous and wild adventures, are stories they created over the years and reflect on the strong bond and love of a mother and her child across time and space, all the way to infinity. 

Danila has worked for more than twenty-two years as a development professional with the United Nations and as an independent consultant. She has lived in Africa and the Middle East and currently resides between Mozambique and Europe. She is married to Léo’s dad, and together they’re committed to keeping his memory alive.
