Nestled in Bramble Wood lives Mummy bear, Daddy bear, and their cubs: Daisy, Clover, Aster and Basil. As winter settles in and the trees grow bare, the little family busy themselves with preparations for Christmas. They hang garlands, make paper chains and nestle by the fire. But suddenly, Daisy wonders: Who will give Mummy and Daddy a Christmas gift? Determined to find the perfect gifts, the bear cubs set off through the forest. They try to capture the blue of the sea, the rush of the wild winds, the warmth of a sunbeam and the reflection of the moon, but each treasure is impossible to take and they return home empty handed. But they soon discover that Christmas isn't just about the perfect gift, and that nature has a way of rewarding the kind-hearted.
