Juliet Escoria is the author of the story collection You Are the Snake (Soft Skull Press, 2024) and the novel Juliet the Maniac (Melville House, 2019). Her writing can be found in Prelude, VICE, The Fader, BOMB, and the New York Times, and has been translated into many languages. She was born in Australia, raised in San Diego, and currently lives in West Virginia, where she teaches English at a community college.
Abby Geni is the author of the novels The Wildlands, The Lightkeepers, and Children of the Wolf—as well as the short story collections The Last Animal and The Body Farm. Her books have been translated into seven languages and have won the Barnes & Noble Discover Award and the Chicago Review of Books Awards, among other honors. Her short stories and essays have appeared in Best American Mystery and Suspense, The Missouri Review, Epoch, Ninth Letter, and New Stories from the Midwest.
Chris Stuck is the author of Give My Love to the Savages: Stories (Amistad/HarperCollins, 2021). He earned an MFA in Fiction from George Mason University, and has been a fiction fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts, the Callaloo Writers Workshop, and the Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship. He is a Pushcart Prize winner, and his work has been published in American Literary Review, Bennington Review, Cagibi, Callaloo, Meridian, and Natural Bridge.
