'The Out-of-Court Consensual Divorce in Greece. A model for Germany?': The thesis examines whether an out-of-court consensual divorce procedure based on the Greek model should be introduced in Germany. In Greece, a marriage can be dissolved exclusively out of court through notarized certification by mutual consent. This model strengthens the spouses' private autonomy, accelerates the procedure, and relieves the courts. With certain adjustments to protect public interests, its introduction would also be desirable in Germany.
