Joanna Hardy-Susskind is a criminal defence barrister and an expert commentator on the justice system and on issues of sexism and inequality within it. Regularly appearing on BBC television and radio, she has also been named in the Law and Order category of the Evening Standard's Progress 1000, a list of the most influential people in London. Hardy has bult a popular public profile and has had bylines in the Evening Standard and written a viral blog for the Secret Barrister, 'Attrition'. She is also writing and presenting her own ten-episode series on BBC Radio 4 'You Do Not Have to Say Anything', which offers listeners a peek into the criminal justice system.
