Book store owner and coffee snob, Clark Thomas, finds himself involved in another murder investigation. This time in a double murder at the popular Tidal Creek Brew House. What seems like an open and shut case for the police turns into something much larger when Clark discovers a secret scheme hatched by one victim. In the middle of it all is a group of tight-knit women who live together in a Market Common apartment complex. Clark learns that these seemingly playful and innocent "Silver Girls" harbor secrets they want to keep hidden and it all relates to one victim. Against the backdrop of a busy summer season in Myrtle Beach, Clark discovers links in the case involving the IRS, FBI, and the mafia. Outside forces pressure Clark to uncover the killer before harm comes to those he loves. Along the way, he learns more about the person behind his wife's death. The revelation causes him to question everything.
