Guillermo Barrantes: Nació en Buenos Aires en 1974. Es escritor y guionista. Ha colaborado en diarios y revistas. Fue columnista en radio y televisión. Ha publicado cuentos, novelas y ensayos. También escribió el guion de Ecuación: los malditos de Dios, película que tuvo el apoyo del INCAA y que dirigió el argentino Sergio Mazurek. Guillermo recibió varios premios, tanto por sus trabajos literarios como por sus guiones cinematográficos. Algunas de sus obras más conocidas además de Crónicas mundiales (Guadal) son Buenos Aires es leyenda (Planeta) y La dama de blanco (Mandioca/ La estación editora). Es guionista de la serie Tierra incógnita (Disney), nominada al premio EMMY INTERNACIONAL.
