Emily Stead has loved writing for children ever since she was a child herself! Working as
a children's writer and editor, she has created books about some of football's biggest stars,
teams and tournaments for many a season. She remains a passionate supporter of women's football and Leeds United. John Murray has written and edited books on a wide range of sports - from athletics to Aussie rules football, and from tennis to Test cricket - and for several different audiences, in particular young sports fans.
