Gabriella Ballin, a Friulian by birth and Lombard by adoption, graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature. She began her career in television as a scriptwriter-producer and, while working for Disney channels, she graduated from the Castello Sforzesco comic school. She cultivated her passion for drawing by doodling on any surface, until one day, during a writing workshop with Davide Calì, she realised that she loved writing. She now devotes herself to creative writing and video production as a freelancer. Her first picture book Quand tu dors was published in France in 2019. Anna Aparicio Català (1991) is a Spanish illustrator who has been working as a professional illustrator since 2014. She has illustrated several books (mostly published in Spain and France), some of which have been translated into Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean and German. She has won several national and international awards for her work, including Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Award 2018 and 2019 (China), Nami Concours 2017 (South Korea), Iberoamérica Ilustra 2017 and 2018 (Mexico), Lucca Junior Publishing Competition 2019 (Italy).
