Prudence is an Indian runner duck who wanders away from her home chasing a cicada and gets lost. The story follows her journey home and the new friends she meets along the way portraying her pride and the unusual friendships she encounters.
Born in England I emigrated to Australia in 1990, living in Queensland in a beautiful small town in the Glass House Mountains with my partner, our two dogs, Bosco and Gigi, and three chickens. I have three children and four grandchildren all living here in Australia and all of whom I adore. My older sister and her family as well as my mum also live here in Queensland. My dad and stepmum, younger sister and her family live in the UK and I hope to be able to travel to see them soon. Family is the most important thing to me and I love and miss them every day.
