Otis D. Alexander has been the director at academic, public, and school libraries in the District of Columbia, Indiana, Virginia, the Virgin Islands, and the Republic of Liberia. His work has also appeared in Public Library Quarterly, Virginia Libraries, Scribner's Encyclopedia of American Lives, and the African-American National Biography.
