Jason's drug addiction has spun out of control forcing the LBI director to send him out of The Library to investigate the deaths of dwarf miners. Along the way he discovers that this is part of a bigger plot launched by Eversphere and the ancient dragons to lure him out of the safety of The Library. Not only is Jason at risk, but so his his partner Mortyiene they need to solve the murders fast and return to The Library.
