Sheila Johnson designs inspired weddings out of her busted-up 1973 Airstream at the Wheel-In RV Park. She dreams of a better clientele-brides that don't need bouncers, grooms that don't need strippers, and DJs that don't need boom boxes.
In the meantime, Sheila does what she has to pull off her events while being guided by her romantic ideal, the '80s flick Dirty Dancing, and sticking to her personal motto: It's not a felony if it's for love.
She's sure that if she can win Best Bride Magazine's budget wedding contest with her current monkey-themed wedding idea, she could finally get her big break. But there are plenty of obstacles standing in her way: a dirt poor bride, a pregnant best friend and business partner, a trailer-stealing mom, a spectacular crush on her boss, and a precarious job at a lowly minimart. This wedding will go on . . . or land her in jail.
